Workshop Christmas dinner.
Spot the housemate (hint: xmas colours please).
Cooking highlights included: turkey, quiche, shrimp, baked tomatoes, cauliflower cheese, beetroot and currant salad and a deliciously vegan potato salad. We impressed even ourselves with our culinary skills. Thanks everyone for coming!
One size fits all. Hear us roar!
The lion suit was Ollie’s best purchase of 2010. His idea was that all housemates get animal onesies and we take a group pic in front of our luscious vine-covered front wall. Maybe next year we can make a house Christmas card?
Jamming some culture: Dante’s Inferno/Dante’s Peak/Dante’s Cove.
On the 2nd of May: Happy 2nd Birthday to the Workshop
To celebrate, we made another little film clip with self-indulgent shots - mostly of us eating and roaring like leopards - set to a cheesy song. But hey, it’s our birthday, we get cake. Cheesecake.
With love to all youse who made our house so much more than a house.
Our five-year-old neighbour is probably jealous of our toys.
What we did this weekend at the Workshop
For a really delicious Sunday,
Add inca berries to your pancake batter,
Throw in a guitar and a foot-stomping, folk-peddling Alaskan superstar,
Invite a whole neighbourhood of happy misfits,
Sunshine to taste,
And voilà! A music video.
Thanks to Ro for his filming wonder-skills; to the whole neighbourhood of happy misfits, for being so damn happy; to Aaron for bringing everyone together; and of course, to Brandon Reid, for bringing down the house.
It took a houseful of friends and eight different desserts to finally bid auf wiedersehen to our darling housemate, Ben, infamous for his wrestle-hugs and the most raucous, infectious laughter you’ve ever heard. Break a leg in Boston, Benjamin XX
Summer lovin’ at the Workshop - the dinner party series
(cheers to Lewis for the bike polo crew photos)
On Po’s last weekend, before he bid his goodbyes and jetted off to Europe on law exchange, we missioned down to the South Coast - to a beautiful spot on the Riviera… shacking it under a tin roof, swimming, picking lemons and avo’s, reading, rolling on the grass, and dancing to Manu Chao.
